Community Standards / Acceptable Use Policy
These standards apply to community posts, groups, comments, messages, marketplace listings, profiles and uploaded material.
Be respectful and safe
Communicate respectfully, disagree without personal attacks, consider that community members may be older or vulnerable, and protect your own and other people’s personal information.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate or discrimination.
- Defamation, impersonation, deception, scams, fraud, spam or suspicious payment requests.
- Illegal content, sexual or otherwise explicit/inappropriate material, or content encouraging unsafe conduct.
- Copyright or other rights violations, or sharing someone’s personal information or image without permission.
- Malicious links, account attacks, password/authentication-code requests or attempts to bypass controls.
- Marketplace misdescription, counterfeit or prohibited goods, payment scams and unsafe collection arrangements.
- Repeated unwanted messages or misuse of private groups and invitations.
Moderation
Depending on context, seriousness and history, authorised administrators may remove content, issue a warning, restrict a feature, temporarily suspend or permanently terminate an account. Relevant material may be preserved for an investigation, safeguarding or legal obligation. We aim to act fairly but may act immediately where safety or security requires it.
Report a problem
Use Report a Concern and include the relevant user, page, message/listing, time and a factual description. Do not make knowingly false or malicious reports. For safety advice see Safeguarding & Online Safety.
